Project details:

I was responsible for proofreading and editing text as it was flowed into the Annual Report and Calendar. In addition to proofing for grammar, spelling and factual mistakes, I also ensured consistency across documents and edited for tone and layout.

Project details:

I worked with a team to create a strategic concept and event plan for an annual reception. The concept was carried through a paper invitation, an electronic invitation, a web information page, event signage and event entertainment.

THE GUY: "I'd go back to school if only I had the money." I said that to my barber, and he took a chunk out of my sideburn.
THE BARBER: "That's no excuse!" he said. "In fact right now, Algonquin College is offering a bursary for the first 500 qualified registrants in the Computer, Electronics and Multimedia Programs for Winter 2000. It's sponsored by some folks in the high tech industry."
THE GUY: "Really?" I said. He seemed proud of the fact that he knew something I didn't.
THE BARBER: "It's worth $500 off the cost of first semester," he continued. "And since the average tuition is less than a grand, that's quite a savings! All you have to do is call Algonquin at 727-0002 or check out their website at algonquincollege.com/opportunity."
THE GUY: "How do you know all this?" I asked him.
THE BARBER: He shrugged,"Whattaya mean? I'm a barber. People talk."
